Cinder block falls on construction worker's head in Brooklyn, critically injuring him

CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn (WABC) -- A large cinder block fell on a worker at a Brooklyn construction site, critically injuring him.

It happened around 1:30 p.m. Friday at Eastern Parkway and Dean Street in the Crown Heights section.

The cinder block fell about five feet into the 44-year-old worker's head.

He was taken to Brookdale University Hospital where he is listed in critical condition.
