WESTBURY, NY (WABC) -- Police arrested a Garden City man who they say damaged glass doors at Buffalo Wild Wing restaurant and assaulted police officers Monday night.

The manager of the Buffalo Wild Wing on Merrick Avenue called police around 10:15 p.m. to report that 25-year-old Brian J. Pfail had kicked and damaged one of the glass doors of the restaurant and then fled on foot.

Police say they found Pfail walking on Corporate Drive and attempted to interview him.

Pfail apparently became aggressive, allegedly yelling obscenities before striking a Nassau County officer in the head, causing a laceration to his right hand.

A struggle to place Pfail into custody ensued, with Pfail accused of punching a second officer in the nose and also biting his left arm, according to a police report.

A Nassau County police sergeant, along with a third police officer, apparently assisted with securing Pfail and taking him into custody.

Both suffered injuries as well.

The sergeant suffered multiple abrasions and a swollen left hand. The third officer was apparently kicked in the stomach.

Pfail refused all verbal commands by all four officers, according to the report.

All four officers were transported by a police ambulance and treated for their injuries.

Pfail has been charged with four counts of second-degree assault, third-degree criminal mischief and resisting arrest.
