Driver facing drug charges after crashing into bus in Jamaica, Queens

JAMAICA (WABC) -- A driver is facing charges in a crash involving a bus that left a dozen people hurt in Queens.

Police say 24-year old Chevon Parchment crashed into a bus, sending it into several parked cars and a home in Jamaica Saturday night, after refusing to stop for police.

After the crash, police say they found more than 60 baggies of crack cocaine in his car.

Parchment is charged with drug possession and reckless endangerment.

No one was seriously hurt.
