Earthquake wakes residents of Central New Jersey

BERNARDSVILLE, N.J. (WABC) -- A 2.5 magnitude earthquake shook residents of Central New Jersey around 3:41 a.m.

The earthquake was 2 miles north of Bernardsville, N.J., in Somerset County.

Police received multiple calls of rumbling, but there were no immediate reports of damage.

Somerset County emergency office received a brief burst of 911 calls asking about it, but the calls have died down.

Morris County emergency office said it also got 911 calls, but no reports of damage.
