Fire breaks out in high-rise apartment building in Park Slope, Brooklyn

PARK SLOPE, N.Y. (WABC) -- Fire broke out in the top floor of a high-rise apartment building in Brooklyn Monday.

The fire happened just before 4 p.m. on 10th Street in Park Slope.

Here is video shot by an Eyewitness News viewer:

Flames were seen shooing from the window of the 18th floor. The fire has since been put out.

Fire officials said one person has minor injuries from the the fire.

Residents told Eyewitness News they didn't hear a fire alarm sound in the building.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
