OCEANSIDE, Long Island (WABC) -- Nassau County police have arrested a man they say twice robbed the bank across the street from his Long Island home.
Both robberies took place at the TD Bank on Long Beach Road in Oceanside eight days apart.
Authorities say 34-year-old Melvin Olivo handed a note to a teller on February 19 demanding money. After the teller complied, Olivo reportedly fled on foot.
Detectives say he returned on February 27 and robbed the bank the exact same way.
Olivo was arrested Monday and charged with robbery.
No injuries were reported.
