Luring incident in Linden, New Jersey, under investigation

LINDEN, New Jersey (WABC) -- Police are investigating a luring case in New Jersey.

At 7 a.m. Wednesday, a 16-year-old student at Linden High School said a man driving a blue 2-door vehicle pulled up next to her and offered her a ride to school.

The vehicle then fled, traveling east on West St. George Ave. in Linden. The teen continued to school where she reported the incident.

The event is considered suspicious, and police are investigating.

The man is described as thin and white, with short brown hair, wearing a grey shirt and sunglasses
