SOMERS (WABC) -- A Mahopac man was arrested Tuesday on drunk-driving charges after a breath test revealed he was behind the wheel with a blood-alcohol content more than four times the legal limit.

New York State Police from the Somers barracks took 45-year-old Darryl Costello into custody after stopping him on State Route 6 for failing to dim his high beams to oncoming traffic.

The investigating Trooper interviewed Costello and observed clues that indicated he was intoxicated at the time of the stop.

Costello supplied a breath sample that revealed a Blood Alcohol Content of .38.

Costello was transported to Northern Westchester Hospital for evaluation.

He is charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated.
