WYANDANCH (WABC) -- A man is under arrest after an altercation at a Wyandanch High School football game on Long Island Saturday night ended with a stabbing.

21-year old Kaurron Foster of West Babylon is facing assault charges.

Two teenagers from North Amityville were stabbed in the fight behind the bleachers at the football field after the homecoming game against Southampton.

The stabbing victims, 17-year-old Malik Harrison and 18-year-old Kymel Sims, were hospitalized at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip in stable condition, police said Sunday.

Police are still investigating what led up to the incident. None of the players were involved in the altercation. Police say the fight appeared to be unconnected to the game.

Last week, 5 Wyandanch varsity football players were suspended for two days for bullying pranks. They were not suspended from playing football.
