Missing man from Staten Island found safe in Florida

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- A missing father from Staten Island has been found safe in Florida.

John Kambakakis of Dongan Hills was found in good health in Daytona Beach according to the NYPD. No other details were released.

Kambakakis was last seen Wednesday, January 28 as he was leaving the Hirsch Diner in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn.

Police did not say if Kambakakis had the $25,000 in bets on the Super Bowl he was said to have collected.
