Ikea movie beds
A Moscow IKEA sales promotion replaces theater seats with beds.

MOSCOW (WABC) -- Boring movies are sometimes referred to as snorers, but one theater in Russia has given the term a whole new meaning.

This week, Swedish furniture superstore IKEA has replaced one Moscow theater's seats with beds as part of its "Wake Up Love" sale campaign. IKEA is hoping to draw attention by providing a unique solution to the problem of couples spending less time together.

Couples and their popcorn can snuggle under the covers to enjoy this intimate movie-going experience. The campaign, which lasts until Dec. 14, is modeled after a similar event held in 2010 at the Olympia Music Hall in Paris.
