PHILADELPHIA -- Philadelphia police continue their investigation into a nightclub assault that allegedly involved former Eagles player and current Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy.

Sister station Action News has obtained more viewer video from early Sunday morning at the Recess Lounge in Old City.

Action News has obtained new video of the incident in a Philadelphia nightclub, that has former Eagle LeSean McCoy under investigation.

In addition, TMZ has posted footage of the bar fight that allegedly shows the NFL star's face.

McCoy and three others allegedly assaulted three off-duty police officers during an argument over champagne. Two of the officers were seriously injured.

Detectives are interviewing witnesses and McCoy is expected to be questioned at some point. Action News has learned that representatives for McCoy were calling around, looking for a defense attorney on Monday.

So far, no charges have been filed as the investigation unfolds.

The incident happened around 2:45 a.m. Sunday at the Recess Lounge located at 125 South 2nd Street.

A source tells Action News, the police officers and a police sergeant had ordered multiple bottles of champagne and, according to witness accounts, one of the men with McCoy grabbed a bottle out of one of the cop's hands.

That led to an argument, police said, and one of the police officers was punched and knocked to the ground.

Sources tell Action News that former Eagles player and current Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy is under investigation.

While on the ground, Philadelphia police say that officer was punched, kicked and stomped on his body and head multiple times by all four suspects.

The second officer, along with security guards, went to break it up, and everyone involved was then ejected from the club.

The first officer drove himself to the hospital, where he was found to be suffering from broken ribs, a broken nose, a laceration to his right eye and a sprained thumb, police said.

The second officer was also admitted to the hospital, where he received stitches over his right eye and is being treated for a possible skull fracture.

The sergeant was not injured.

Police say outside surveillance video showed the ejection from the club, but surveillance cameras inside the club were not working.

"Nothing should amount to this kind of incident where you have someone going to the ground and have any individual stomping a person over a bottle of champagne. It makes no sense whatsoever," said Lt. John Stanford of Philadelphia Police.

Action News has learned that one member of the group is a former NFL player, another is a former college football player with the University of Pittsburgh, where McCoy also played.

McCoy's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, declined to comment when contacted by Action News.

The Buffalo Bills put out a statement Monday that reads:

"We are aware of the reports regarding LeSean McCoy and are in the process of gathering more information. We will not provide any further comment at this time."
