PARSIPPANY (WABC) -- Police have arrested three suspects in a string of burglaries involving jewelry in northern New Jersey.

The three are wanted for at least eight burglaries in Parsippany, East Hanover, Millburn, Middletown and Denville.

Authorities say they tracked down the suspects May 20th. Police responded to an activated burglar alarm at a home on Fox Chase Drive, where a window appeared to have been forced open.

Later that afternoon, officers investigated reports of a disturbance in the area of Route 46 and Cherry Hill Road.

A woman, later identified as Ynekia Blanch, 34, started yelling to the responding officers to get their attention from across the street.

She told police she was traveling with two other people in a car that had a flat tire.

According to authorities, Blanch, who had an active warrant issued for her arrest, was taken to police headquarters while officers canvassed the area for the other two.

Police determined that the three had been involved a burglary and an attempted burglary in Parsippany, and a search of the car revealed proceeds from eight burglaries, along with gloves, a screwdriver, and walkie talkies.

Blanch, 37-year old Jason Livingston, and 31-year old Nadirah Purdie were all arrested on burglary charges.

Parsippany Police say they have over 125 pieces of jewelry that they are trying to return to their rightful owners.

If you have any information regarding these incidents or information regarding the rightful owners of the jewelry, please contact Detective Joseph D. Puso of The Parsippany-Troy Hills Police Department. His direct line is 973-263-4315 or you can email him at jpuso@parpolice.com.
