WOODBRIDGE, N.J. (WABC) -- A pedestrian was struck on Route 27 in Woodbridge just after 5 a.m.

The pedestrian sustained head trauma and was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick.

The vehicle stayed at the scene.

Northbound Route 27 at Wood Avenue is closed for the investigation.
