Following Freddie Gray's death on April 19, fierce protests between Baltimore residents and police erupted on Monday. Check out the gallery above to see the latest happening in Baltimore.

Freddie Gray's death on April 19 became the latest touchstone in an ongoing debate about the excessive use of force by police. Gray, an African American male, suffered a severe spinal cord injury after being held in police custody. Gray's death resulted in high tensions amongst Baltimore residents, with police saying there had been a credible threat from area gangs to attack law enforcement, according to the Associated Press.
