Family of 3 robbed in Brooklyn home invasion, police say

BROOKLYN, N.Y. (WABC) -- Police are looking for three robbery suspects who invaded a Brooklyn apartment, tying up a family with duct tape.

On July 23, the men entered the apartment on Sutter Avenue, and tied up a man, a woman and a 13-year-old girl with duct tape, police said.

According to the New York City Police Department, the suspects then pistol-whipped, punched and kicked the man before fleeing with about $3,500 in cash, jewelry and electronics.

The male victim was taken to an area hospital in stable condition.
