Police investigating after woman stabbed in North Bergen, New Jersey

NORTH BERGEN, New Jersey (WABC) -- Police are investigating after a woman was stabbed Thursday afternoon in North Bergen, New Jersey.

It happened at about 12:40 p.m. on Newkirk Avenue.

The victim sustained superficial wounds and was taken to Palisades Medical Center for treatment.

Police are speaking to witnesses and going over surveillance video.

Investigators say the victim knew her attacker.

The suspect is still at large.
