WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (WABC) -- Police are investigating a possible abduction of a woman from a bus stop Wednesday.

According to the Greenburgh Police Department, they responded to a report around 8:30 a.m. that a woman in her early 20s was waiting at a bus stop on Tarrytown and Manhattan avenues in White Plains. A man pulled up in a red car and started arguing with her.

The woman was then forced into the car and took off, police said.

They are checking surveillance in the area and continuing the investigation.
