Police looking for man involved in robbery in East Harlem

NEW YORK (WABC) -- The NYPD is searching for the suspect who robbed a 62-year-old man in East Harlem.

The incident happened on Friday, May 27th near East 106th Street and 2nd Avenue at approximately 11:20 p.m.

The suspect approached the victim with a knife and demanded money.

He then managed to runaway with nearly $300 and other miscellaneous items.

The victim was not injured during the robbery.

The suspect wanted for questioning is described as a male who is 35-40 years old, 195-200 lbs, and was last wearing a white t-shirt, blue jean shorts, and black sneakers.
