Man suspected of stealing 19 boxes of condoms from Bronx Rite Aid, police say

BRONX (WABC) -- Police are looking for a man suspected of stealing 19 boxes of condoms and cutting a security guard..

At 1 a.m. Tuesday, the suspect walked into a Rite Aid on Third Avenue in the Bronx and put 19 boxes of condoms in a bag. According to the New York City Police Department, he then attempted to leave the store.

A security guard stopped the suspect, but the suspect pulled out a box cutter and cut the guard on the arm.

The suspect then fled. The victim was taken to Lincoln Hospital where he was treated and released.
