DYKER HEIGHTS, Brooklyn (WABC) -- Three suspects are in custody after a woman claimed to be in danger in a moving car. This sparked a police pursuit from Staten Island to Brooklyn that ended with the car crashing in Dyker Heights.

The woman contacted a relative with the make and model of the vehicle. That relative called 911.

Police on routine patrol spotted the vehicle near Henderson Avenue and Broadway on Staten Island.

They followed it through Staten Island and over the Verrazano Narrows Bridge into Brooklyn.

The vehicle crashed into at least two other cars at 65 Street and 10th Avenue in Dyker Heights just before 6 a.m.

All three suspects are now in police custody. One of the suspects is 19, and the other two suspects are 21 years old. Two guns were recovered in plain view in their BMW, which they ditched in Brooklyn.

Charges against the three suspects are pending, but the case is being investigated as a robbery and attempted abduction.

Officers also located the woman who was in the car and are interviewing her.

No one involved in the crashes sustained serious injuries and no officers were hurt.
