Police question person of interest in fatal stabbing at a McDonald's in the Bronx

Police are questioning a person of interest in a fatal stabbing at a McDonoald's in the Bronx.

28-year old Adam Garcia was attacked by a man with a knife outside the McDonald's in Kingsbridge early Monday morning.

The father of a young child died after suffering multiple stab wounds.

Detectives say his attacker had followed him into the parking lot after some sort of dispute.

The person of interest surrendered to detectives at the 50th precinct Wednesday morning, police say. No charges were immediately filed.

Police have released a new sketch, in addition to a video, in their search for the killer.

Garcia was the overnight manager at the restaurant. At about 4:30 Monday morning, police say as he was leaving work for the day, Garcia asked a man who had been in the restaurant for hours to leave as well.

It was in the parking lot where the fatal confrontation took place. Garcia was stabbed in the torso several times.

He managed to make it back into the restaurant and was rushed to New York-Presbyterian Hospital, but later died. His assailant, a man described by locals as "homeless" and a familiar face around there, fled.
