Woman sees man performing lewd act on No. 1 subway, police say

NEW YORK (WABC) -- Police are looking for a man who was performing a lewd act on a subway.

Around 10:20 p.m. Sept. 10, the man was seen on the northbound No. 1 train near Seventh Avenue and 42nd Street, according to the New York City Police Department. A woman saw him performing the lewd act and took a picture. There were no reported injuries.

The suspect is described as a black man, between 35 and 45 years old, 5 feet 9 inches tall, and 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue V-neck T-shirt with yellow and blue letters on the front, jean shorts, white socks, black Nike sneakers and frameless glasses.
