Police arrest suspect in rape of 10-year-old girl in Brooklyn

BUSHWICK, Brooklyn (WABC) -- Police have made an arrest in the rape of a 10-year-old girl in Brooklyn following a three-month manhunt.

The NYPD had been searching for 24-year-old Edwin Caizaguano since October.

They say he raped the little girl in a home in Bushwick.

Members of the NYPD's Fugitive Apprehension Team tracked Caizaguano down on Monday in Saint Paul, Minnesota.

He is now awaiting extradition.
