PATCHOGUE, Long Island (WABC) -- There was a not guilty plea Tuesday night from a man who was shot by police on Long Island, after he allegedly dragged an officer during a traffic stop in Patchogue.
34-year-old Michael Shear was arraigned in his bed at Stony Brook University Hospital.
He was shot in the shoulder.
Shear is charged with DWI, reckless endangerment and fleeing an officer in a vehicle.
