Brooklyn woman sexually assaulted by 2 men in 1-hour span

BROOKLYN (WABC) -- A teenager has been arrested in connection with two sexual assaults of a woman on the same night in Brooklyn in August.

Nicholas Isaac, 17, of Brooklyn, has been charged with robbery, criminal sex act, unlawful imprisonment, assault and criminal possession. A second suspect in the incident is still being sought.

The victim was sexually assaulted two times by different men in the span of an hour Aug. 31. Authorities believe the two men may have been working together, mainly because the details in both sexual assaults are identical and they happened just one block apart in the Clinton Hill section.

Police said the victim had been out with friends and was on her way home.

The first assault happened around 5 a.m. in front of 187 Gates Ave. Police say the suspect pushed the victim to the ground and sexually assaulted her. The suspect threatened to use a gun but never produced one.

Then, at 6 a.m., police say the woman was attacked again in front of 58 Irving Place. That man was caught on surveillance camera fleeing the scene. When the victim got home, she told her roommate and they called police.

In the second case, authorities say the victim was shoved to the ground and sexually assaulted. The suspect also threatened to use a gun but never produced one.

The suspect is the first incident is described as a light-skinned black or Hispanic male, approximately 5-foot-7, last seen wearing blue jeans and a red T-shirt.

The second suspect is described as a light-skinned black or Hispanic male, approximately 6 feet tall and weighting 170 pounds.
