WEST ORANGE (WABC) -- Family and friends gathered Tuesday to bid a final farewell to a college student murdered in New Jersey.

Funeral services were held for Brendan Tevlin at 11 a.m. in Livingston.

The 19-year-old was found shot to death in a car last Wednesday night in West Orange.

Police do not have any suspects in Tevlin's killing.

Authorities are still trying to identify two men caught on camera running in the area of the shooting, but it is unclear if they were involved in any capacity.

The discovery was made inside a small-model SUV around 2:30 a.m. on Northfield Avenue, in the parking lot of a 40-unit apartment complex.

At a wake on Monday, mourners lined up by the hundreds, packing the auditorium at Seton Hall Prep, where Tevlin graduated.

"Just a testament to how well he was liked by everybody around him, and just the impact that he left," one friend said.

Detectives believe Tevlin was the target of the killing, but they haven't released any details of a possible motive.

"A great kid from a wonderful family," West Orange Mayor Robert Parisi said.

Authorities have announced a $25,000 reward for information leading to whomever shot and killed Tevlin.

"He was a great kid and always looking out for other people instead of himself, every day, no matter what," a mourner said.

He was about to enter his sophomore year at the University of Richmond.
