SHEEPSHEAD BAY, N.Y. (WABC) -- Police are asking for the public's help after a burglar grabbed some high-priced merchandise at a home in Brooklyn.

The burglary happened Saturday at about 9:30 p.m. near the intersection of Bedford Avenue and East 24th Street in the Sheepshead Bay section.

Police said the burglar made off with about $4,000 cash and assorted jewelry, including six Gucci watches, four Tag Heuer watches, two bracelets, two pairs of earrings and three wedding rings.
