The NYPD is hoping surveillance video will lead them to a gunman who shot three people in the Bronx Thursday.

The man opened fire on a livery cab on East 183rd Street in the Morris Heights section.

Two passengers, a 21-year-old woman and 23-year-old man were shot in the torso, but survived.

Police say the gunman also shot a 28-year-old man inside a nearby store, then fled the scene.

The motive for the shooting remains unclear.

The NYPD describes the suspect as a male black 30 to 40 years old, 5'7" to 5'9", 180lbs, who was last seen wearing a green jacket, gray pants and black sneakers.

The victims were taken to area hospitals in stable condition.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
