The NYPD released video of a violent brawl in the Bronx.

KINGSBRIDGE, Bronx (WABC) -- Police say an assault in the Bronx earlier this month has now become a homicide investigation after the victim died of his injuries.

The NYPD released surveillance video of the brawl, in which several people are seen going after the victim Oct. 2nd on Broadway in Kingsbridge.

One of the men punched the 36-year-old victim in the face and knocked him to the ground, while other people continued to kick and punch him.

He was taken to an area hospital in critical condition and died Wednesday.

Three people have been arrested in the case, 23-year-old Hector Quezada, 22-year-old Jenny Gutierrez, and 23-year-old Joel Hernandez, all charged with gang assault.

The NYPD is looking for three other people for questioning.
