The NYPD released video of a woman suspected of trying to abduct a toddler in Brooklyn.

BENSONHURST, Brooklyn (WABC) -- A woman has been arrested in connection with an attempted abduction of a little girl in Brooklyn.

Shao Qing Li, 51, of Brooklyn is facing charges of acting in a manner injurious to a child.

The incident happened May 28 near 16th Avenue and 80th Street in Bensonhurst.

According to police, the suspect approached s 2-year-old girl who was outside playing when she took her by the hand and started to walk away with her. The child's mother, who was also outside at the time saw the woman walking away with her child, approached her and took her child back.

The woman then kept walking away as if nothing had happened, investigators say. No one was hurt.
