Police search for woman who befriended 91-year old man in the Bronx, then robbed him
WEST FARMS (WABC) -- Police are searching for a woman they say befriended a 91-year old man in the Bronx before robbing him.
Surveillance video shows the two walking together on Tremont Avenue in West Farms Friday morning.
Investigators say the woman escorted the man into a deli, where she stole $100 from his pocket and then took off.
The man was not hurt.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic female, 35-45 years old, 5'4", who was last seen wearing a black sweater, black skirt and red sneakers.
