Woman held at knife-point in Yorktown broad-daylight robbery

YORKTOWN (WABC) -- The hunt is on in Westchester County for a man who robbed a woman at knifepoint in a K-Mart parking lot in the middle of the day.

Police say the man pictured in the above sketch walked up to the victim while she sat in her car in Yorktown Thursday and opened her front passenger side door.

He then sat down, pulled out a knife and demanded money.

After the victim gave him cash, the suspect got out and ran away.

Officers on foot and in a helicopter searched for the suspect, but didn't find him.

The suspect is described is a light-skinned black male in his early 20s, standing about 5-foot-8 with an average weight. He has light pock marks on both cheeks and was last ween wearing a light gray parka-type jacket with tan fur around the hood and a black beanie-type hat.
