Woman weds man she's never met at a California airport

ONTARIO, CA -- A couple was married this weekend in California just five minutes after meeting each other for the very first time.

Erica Harris and Artie Vann say they fell in love with each other last year after a courtship that began on Instagram.

Artie lives in New York, so for their months their romance grew through original poetry along with videos to help bridge the time and distance.

Artie then bought a one-way plane ticket, and the two planned to elope minutes after he landed.

And then, they finally met.

The couple embraced warmly at Ontario International Airport, exchanging vows and that all-important first kiss as travelers watched.

Their advice to all those love-seekers out there?

"Don't listen to your thoughts, don't listen to your head, follow your heart...follow your soul," said Artie.

"So for anybody who doesn't believe in fairy tales anymore, who am I, and it can happen to you too," said Erica.
