YONKERS, New York (WABC) -- A father from Yonkers is on a desperate mission to find his missing 20-year-old daughter.

Police say Gabriella Camacho was last seen 10 days ago, on October 17, at the Port Authority Bus Terminal.

"It was a normal day she was headed to school so I thought," said Efrain Camacho, missing woman's father.

A surveillance picture from the Westchester County home of the Camacho family shows 20-year-old Gabriella Camacho, a Borough of Manhattan Community College student, leaving the house on October 17th.

Her father says he quickly found out she had other plans for her day.

"I got an email indicating she was flying to Tokyo," Camacho said.

At first Camacho thought it could be credit card fraud. But quickly learned it was booked by his daughter Gabriella, who has now been missing for 10 days.

"I immediately left work went to JFK to stop ticket. We came to the conclusion she did not board the flight," Camacho said. "I went right back to the school to follow up and come to find out she had a going away party to go to Tokyo for a tumor that has already been removed."

Camacho says his daughter has had three surgeries throughout her life to remove a brain tumor. The last one was in August of 2015.

He says without her medications she can't function.

"It's been 11 days without medication my heart is broken. I'm sure she's not ok," Camacho said.

Authorities believe she could be in the New York City area.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call police at 914-377-7900.
