NYPD looking for shooter in Elmhurst incident that left 2 injured

ELMHURST, N.Y. (WABC) -- Police are looking for a suspect in a double shooting in Queens.



At midnight on May 24, the suspect shot two victims on 43rd Avenue in Elmhurst, according to the New York City Police Department. A 25-year-old man was hit in the lower left leg and was taken to to Elmhurst Hospital, and a 17-year-old female was struck in the lower left leg and was taken to Forest Hills Hospital.



The suspect then fled on foot. He is described as black, with a black hooded sweatshirt with white lettering, white jeans, and black and white sneakers.
