Daring burglars make escape via Passaic River
Anthony Johnson reports from Wallington, New Jersey.

WALLINGTON, N.J. (WABC) -- A suspected burglar might have initially gotten away by jumping in the Passaic River, but now he's under arrest. Police are still searching for the second man involved.

26-year-old Brian Krevolt of Passaic is under arrest and a warrant has been issued for James Pellett of Garfield.

Police say they burglarized a home on Crescent Road in Wallington last week, and then ransacked the place.

When the residents came home during the burglary, the suspects took off and jumped into the river.
