Teen raises $5,000 to buy bulletproof vests for police K-9s

Police in Wilmington, Delaware, thanked a high school senior who is on a mission to help K-9 officers.

Brennen Wright attends Appoquinimink High School in Middletown. His senior service project was to raise funds to purchase bulletproof vests for K-9s.

Wright's initial goal was $2,200 to purchase two vests. So far, he's collected more than $5,000.

Wright wants to be veterinarian.
