FORT LAUDERDALE, FL -- The teeniest, tiniest, cutest newborn kitten you'll see all day has been rescued after she became trapped inside a pipe.

The kitten, no more than a couple days old, could be heard mewing at an apartment complex.

A kitten is getting a wheelchair donated from a tech company

Rescuers found the tiny gray kitten, still with its umbilical cord attached, inside the pipe.

Fort Lauderdale Fire Department Captain John Heiser says she was sitting on top of a little towel, with wires tangled around her.

"It really couldn't go anywhere," Heiser says. "If it got caught there or not, we really don't know."

The firefighters pulled the kitten safely from the pipe.

Her new name is Hope, and she is not at a foster home where she's nursing on an adult cat.

No word yet on where Hope's mother is or whether they'll be reunited.
