Bark in the Park gives dogs chance at a forever home

RIDGEFIELD PARK, New Jersey (WABC) -- Some dogs are looking for homes during the Bark in the Park event Saturday in New Jersey.

NASH FM 94.7 is inviting the public from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. (rain or shine) to Overpeck Park in Ridgefield Park.

Admission is free and all dogs are welcome.

Bark in the Park is for all ages and, in addition to dogs ready to be adopted, the event features vendors for dogs, music, food trucks, activities, contests, demonstrations and giveaways, including an opportunity to win tickets to see Rascal Flatts Sept. 2 at PNC Bank Arts Center.

No outside food will be permitted. Food will be sold on site.

The North Shore Animal League America also will have dogs available for adoption.
