Report: Former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani recovering from surgery after fall

NEW YORK (WABC) -- Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani is recovering from surgery after he fell on Long Island, according to a published report.

The New York Post reports Giuliani was rushed to the emergency room Sunday after his right leg gave way and he fell to the ground.

It happened while he and his wife were hosting a barbecue at their home.

Giuliani underwent quadriceps tendon surgery and will be in the hospital for a few days, the Post reported.
