Man found dead after early morning Queens fire

NEW YORK -- Authorities say the body of a man was discovered after firefighters put out a blaze at a home in Queens.

Police say the victim was discovered early Wednesday morning around 1:15 in a private house on Lefferts Boulevard.

The identity of the victim was not immediately known. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
