Central Park robberies under investigation

NEW YORK (WABC) -- Police are looking for suspects in a series of robberies in Central Park.

Investigators said one man, of whom they have provided a sketch, threatened a 19-year-old girl with a knife on Sunday, then took off with her wallet.

It was one of several separate robberies within 24-hours in Central Park.

In a separate incident, a surveillance video shows a large group of people suspected of robbing a teenager and a 20-year-old man on Saturday night near Heckscher Playground. Police said the large group attacked a couple in a playground at 65th Street at about 9:30 p.m. Saturday.
