BRONX, N.Y. (WABC) -- Police are looking for a suspect in a violent robbery attack last week.
Around 8 p.m. on Sept. 9, a 40-year-old woman was approached by a suspect in the lobby of her building on East 201st Street and Briggs Avenue in the Bronx.
The suspect tried to steal her bag from her shoulder and during the struggle, punched her in the face and threw her to the ground.
He dropped the bag and fled eastbound on East 201st Street. The victim was taken to an area hospital where she was treated for a facial fracture and a cut on her head.
The suspect is described as a black man, bald and wearing gloves. He is between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 11 inches tall.
