Police search for suspects who tried to rob 80-year old woman in Brooklyn

FLATBUSH (WABC) -- Police in Brooklyn are searching for two suspects wanted for trying to rob an 80-year old woman.

Surveillance video shows the two women following the victim into the elevator of a building in the vicinity of Ocean Avenue and Church Avenue in Flatbush Friday afternoon.

The woman told police she refused to give them anything.

One of them tried to forcibly remove her purse from around her neck, causing her to fall to the ground.

They then ran off onto the 5th floor, empty-handed.
