Oklahoma family fighting city ordinance to keep miniature pig

SAPULPA, OK -- A family is in danger of losing its beloved pet pig, Raisin, because of a city ordinance which bans swine.

Casey Jones said the one-year-old miniature pig is a part of the family.

In fact, this is pretty much the only family Raisin has ever known since coming to live with the Jones family and their Labrador named Dixie when he was three weeks old.

Now they're fighting to change the ordinance in Sapulpa, Oklahoma so they can all stay together.

A Change.org petition has been signed more than 116,000 times so far in hopes this little piggie can stay with the Jones family.

Jones said Raisin is extremely intelligent, and can do a variety of tricks, including using sign language to communicate.

The family says the ordinance is outdated, and if they have to move, they will just to keep their little family intact.
