NYPD searching for suspect wanted in connection with Brooklyn sex assault

The NYPD have released new video in the search for a suspect wanted in connection with a sex assault in Brooklyn.

On Saturday, a 59-year-old woman was on a park bench on Eastern Parkway when she was approached by the suspect, and engaged in conversation.

The suspect then led the victim to an apartment building on Albany Avenue after the she said she had to use the bathroom. The suspect then directed the victim to the basement of the apartment building and proceeded to choke her and force her to perform oral sex in the basement stairwell.

The suspect then brought the victim to the basement and choked her until she passed out and again forced her to perform a sex act on him. The suspect then fled the scene.

EMS responded and transported the victim to a hospital where she was treated and released.

The suspect is described as a black man who is approximately 60 years old, approximately 5'10" and 200 pounds. The suspect has a Caribbean accent, and has a scarred and discolored eye.
