MIDTOWN (WABC) -- With week one until Christmas, there will be a lot of frantic shopping in the coming days. If you're looking for a quick way to pamper yourself amid the shopping, perhaps a quick trip to a beauty bar is what you need.
Saks Fifth Avenue in Manhattan is where fashion and beauty collide. There, you'll find a make-up counter, a manicure spot and a brow bar nestled in by the racks of clothes.
"We put together an edited assortment of beauty services to really surprise and delight our customers as they shop," says John Cruz from Saks.
The manicures are from Nails Inc., a British brand that is housed in department stores across the pond.
"Every polish we have has a fashion story behind it, so it's perfect," says Selena Shalaby from Nails Inc. "We're on the 5th floor."
You can choose your polish by the paint swatches, and you can embellish with nail art like crystals.
The London Express Manicure is just 15 minutes, so you can quickly get back to shopping.
One woman was in the midst of shopping when she decided to get her brows done.
"It's great, really," said the shopper, while her clothes were on a nearby chair.
Blink Brow Bar is another British-based company. They sell everything for your brows with a variety of services.
"We do tinting eyebrow extensions, lash extensions and brow shaping," says Sabah Feroz.
And while there are plenty of make-up counters through Saks, the Trish McEvoy counter offers a menu of lessons so you can continue getting glammed up at home.
At the very least, any of these options give you a chance to rest your legs and take a break from the holiday shopping rush.
You can reserve ahead or just do a walk-in appointment at any of the spots.
Manicures start at $19, brow threading is $32 and the make-up lessons are free, but a purchase is encouraged.
