YONKERS, Westchester County (WABC) -- With just three days left until Christmas, last-minute shoppers are flocking to area stores.
There are large crowds and packed parking lots at Cross County Shopping Center in Yonkers.
"It's been pretty busy the last few days," said Liz Pollack, marketing director for the 100-store outdoor mall. "The weather's been great, so people have been coming out. It's a really festive environment, and people have been finishing off those lists."
Those still looking for the perfect present are hoping to score some bargains along the way. Many stores are offering 30 to 50 percent off regular prices.
Eric Washington waited until Friday to buy a toy truck for his son.
"Last minute, of course," he said. "Every year."
Cross County will be open until 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday and until 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve.
