One lucky commuter may have fought through their last rush hour.

The sole winning ticket in Tuesday's $58 million Mega Millions drawing was sold inside Penn Station.

The state lottery commission says it was a quick pick purchased at Carlton Cards at One Penn Plaza.

The winning numbers for the March 24 Mega Millions drawing were 02 - 23 - 32 - 45 - 55 and Mega Ball 12.

"New York is proving itself to be the luckiest place to play the lottery," New York Lottery acting director Gardner Gurney said. "This is the fourth nationwide-multimillion jackpot won in New York in recent months, ranging from $58 million to $326 million. We urge the ticketholder to sign the back of your ticket and keep it in a safe place, and when you're ready to claim, we look forward to meeting you."

Recent Mega Millions and Powerball jackpots won in New York include:

--November 4, 2014 Mega Millions drawing, $326 million prize, won by Harold Diamond of Wurtsboro, Sullivan County

--March 14, 2015 Powerball drawing, $136 million prize, yet to be claimed, sold at 7-Eleven, 15 Page Avenue, Staten Island

The winner has one year from the date of the drawing to claim the $58 million Mega Millions prize and may do so at any one of the Lottery's Customer Service Centers statewide, including the Manhattan office at 15 Beaver Street, New York, NY 10004 and the Long Island office at 45 South Service Road, Plainview, NY 11803.

The jackpot is either an annuitized prize paid in 26 annual payments or a lump sum payment of $38.3 million. Each ticket costs $1.

World Books will receive a $10,000 bonus for its role in selling the jackpot-winning Mega Millions ticket.

In addition to the $58 million jackpot prize, a $1 million dollar second prize for the March 24 Mega Millions drawing was sold in Suffolk County at Kings Park Stationers at 56 Indian Head Road in Kings Park. The ticket was purchased as a Quick Pick.
